Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your account details. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture link from Google. If you sign in with an emailed link instead, we receive only your email address. We never see your Google password.
• What you add to trips. Trips, cities, activities, hotels, flights, votes, and comments that you create.
• Basic technical records. The companies that host the app keep standard server logs, which include IP addresses and browser type.

How we use it

Only to run the app: to sign you in, show your trips, and show your name next to what you add. We don't sell your information, show ads, or use tracking or analytics tools.

Who can see your information

• Other members of a trip can see your name and everything you add to that trip, including your votes and comments.
• Anyone with a trip's invite link can join that trip and then see the same. Share invite links only with people you want on the trip. The organizer can reset a link or remove a member.
• People who aren't members of a trip can't see it or anything in it.

Services we rely on

These companies process information on the app's behalf, under their own privacy policies:

• Google — sign-in
• Supabase — accounts and the database where trips are stored
• Vercel — hosting the website

Cookies

The app uses cookies only to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting your information

Your information is kept until it's deleted. You can remove items and your own comments in the app, and a trip's organizer can delete the whole trip. To delete your account and everything associated with it, email us at the address below and we'll remove it.

Children

Trip Planner isn't intended for children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
